We will be celebrating and sending off our four scholarship winners and delegates who will be attending Terra Madre – Salone Del Gusto, Turin, Italy in September 2018.
Nanna Kerr’s Kitchen Café/Restaurant (a Slow Food member) will be preparing a delicious meal of canapés and 2 courses of local seasonal produce.

What to expect
A raffle will be held ($10.00 per ticket) with all funds will be donated to Feeding our Future which support our farmers in drought stricken NSW.
The evening will be hosted by Tom Christie, our scholarship winner for 2016 (in the young farmer category). Tom and his partner Dominique own Four Acre Farm
and grow garlic, flowers and vegetables.
Our scholarship winners will speak about their food journey so far and share in the excitement of travelling to Terra madre Salone Del Gusto in Turin. Our winners are:
Leisha Parkinson of Bean Cycled;
Thomas Boyd, Chef at Margan Family Wines;
Liam Dennis, apprentice farmer and Earth Market producer, Nebo Farms;
Belinda-Jane Davies, Journalist Maitland Mercury.
We are proud to have these young people representing Slow Food Hunter Valley food community.
