Open to Slow Food members and the public, the Hunter Valley will host the Slow Food National Conference from 2nd August to 6th August. While activities start on Wednesday the 2nd (with optional tours), official conference events begin on Thursday the 3rd August. The tours have been arranged for those who arrive early and would like to immerse themselves in local culture. So please take advantage of one of our tours, meet some locals, see the vines and enjoy the company of others.
The official opening of the conference will then occur on Thursday. The conference launch has been combined with the launch of the Hunter Valley’s Slow Food Earth Market (a collaboration between Slow Food Hunter Valley and the Maitland Council).
- A one-page summary of the conference is available on the Conference in Brief page.
